Biography
He lives and works between Baucina (Pa) and Venice where he teaches Plastic and Scenotechnical Disciplines. Between drawing, sculpture and installation, the artist's visual research is marked by the idea of interpreting and making visible the inner dimension of the individual in relation to the collective body with which it interacts on a daily basis. Exploring contexts, stories and forms from which it is possible to draw the social attribute to the concept of "otherness", he profiles the language used as a visual synthesis of several reflections on the ephemeral and precarious nature of the human being and above all on the mechanisms of representation and power that he creates. Central to the body of work are the concept of the work of art as a celibate machine and the psychological dimension of the arena as a place of visions or a space contiguous to memory. The morphological approach, on the other hand, draws inspiration from the models and archetypes of archiving, placed within an 'architectural imaginary' in which diversion of meanings, dysfunctions and logic of forms show their own approach to the world transfigured into things.
