Giovanni de Cataldo (Rome, 1990) lives and works in Rome.

After studying at the Academy of Fine Art in Rome, he continued his
specialization in sculpture at Scuola d’Arte e dei Mestieri Nicola Zabaglia. His
studio has been in the historical building of Pastificio Cerere in Rome since
2014. His research focuses on the urban context, extrapolating elements that
are re-elaborated such as crash-tested guardrails, architectures, benches, etc. In
addition, his research also focuses on subcultures like football supporters, but
also in general on the various languages that populate the cities.
